Despite Frank Ocean’s announcement that he will no longer be performing at this year’s Bestival, this new track from JJ DOOM has got me overly excited for their performance on the Friday night.
JJ DOOM (Jneiro Jarel & DOOM) are headlining the Rizlab tent at the UK’s Bestival Festival on Friday 7th September as part of a full day/night programme curated by Lex Records

Madlib’s ‘Madvillainy 2: The Madlib Remix’ officially released on vinyl
Now, I’ll admit straight out the gate that I’m not your typical, hardcore Doom fan – I caught wind of him and Madlib relatively late. Nonetheless, Madvillainy is no doubt one of my favourite albums of all-time, so you can imagine my excitement upon hearing the news of the official vinyl release for the album’s 2008 rework, ‘Madvillainy 2: The Box.’
The official vinyl for ‘Madvillainy 2: The Madlib Remix‘ comes equipped with an MP3 download of the album, along with a 12-page mini-comic continuing the story laid out in the pair’s video for All Caps.
